SCOTT SWING STUDIO
Scott Swing is an accomplished sculptor, painter, and photographer who uses a variety of mediums and materials to create uniquely stirring pieces of art. Inspired by graffiti, street art, nature, notebook doodles, and the human form, his work incorporates natural materials and reclaimed and found objects, including wood, stone, glass, concrete, and metal. Swing has exhibited his work at various venues in Canada and the Cayman Islands.
For Cayman Art Week 2026, Scott Swing presents Adrift, a group exhibition featuring Justine Jervis, Kara Julian, and Sarah McDougall. While the title evokes an immediate connection to the ocean – its movement, tides, and uncertainty – it also reflects the inner landscapes of the artists themselves. To be adrift is not to be lost, but to exist in a state of motion and discovery.
Working across a range of mediums, including coastal painting, mixed media, textiles, beaded jewellery and urban-inspired sculpture, each artist explores material and form in distinct ways. Together, their works convey a shared sense of searching, responding and adapting, capturing a collective experience while leaving space for individual interpretation.
