Navigate the evening via our free hop-on hop-off bus tours leaving from the CAW Hub at Camana Bay and participating venues. See below for further details and a list of special events.

Live Original Music & Art at The Hive

As part of Cayman Art Week, The Hive hosts an evening of live original music, visual art and community featuring singer-songwriter Chris Sanchez and band Agouti Stew.

The night begins with a solo acoustic performance by Sanchez before he is joined by Agouti Stew for an energetic live set spanning original music and carefully selected favourites. Guests can also explore a special exhibition of paintings by Sanchez and Savage, offering an opportunity to experience the artists’ creative practices.

With live performances, original artwork, great food and a welcoming atmosphere, the event brings together music and visual art for a memorable experience.

Spatial Dialogue: A Conversation Between Art & Interior by IDG

As part of Cayman Art Week, IDG Interior Design Group hosts a special cocktail evening at their Seven Mile Shops showroom, as part of their exhibition Spatial Dialogue: A Conversation Between Art & Interior.

The evening includes a short curatorial talk exploring the relationship between art, interior architecture and spatial design, followed by an opportunity to meet the exhibiting artists - Al Ebanks, Janine Every and Josie Frazer - and IDG designers.

Set within the exhibition itself, the event offers an intimate experience of the works in situ, highlighting how art can be thoughtfully integrated into contemporary living spaces.

Following a successful Cayman Art Week debut last year, Label C returns with an intimate evening centred on art, dialogue and shared experience.

Rather than a formal exhibition or panel, the event unfolds through a series of informal, fluid conversations that emerge organically throughout the space. Guests are invited to move freely, engage with the works and connect with the ideas, stories and voices behind them.

Designed to feel open, dynamic and immersive, the evening encourages participation and interaction, creating a warm, welcoming environment where art is experienced not just visually, but through conversation and connection.

John Broad at Icoa Café

Join artist John Broad for his exhibition Anthology at Icoa Café, where the artist will be present throughout the evening to talk about his latest series.

Icoa will also feature a special CAW Menu for the evening, a comforting two-course meal with a glass of wine (6:30 pm - 9:30 pm). This provides an opportunity to view the exhibition at an unhurried pace, with the atmosphere of the evening adding to the enjoyment of both the food and the art.

Late Night at Carlos V Garcia Gallery

A highlight of Cayman Art Week, join Carlos V. Garcia Gallery for Painting the Future, an immersive celebration of contemporary art bringing together more than 40 local and international artists.

Spanning both indoor and outdoor gallery spaces, this free event features large-scale installations, interactive painting experiences, live dance performances and works across a wide range of artistic styles and disciplines. Throughout the day and into the evening, guests can enjoy music from a live DJ while exploring the exhibition and engaging directly with the creative energy of the space.

Signals in the Sky: Open House at Signal House, Enterprise City

Join Enterprise City for Signals in the Sky, a special open house at Cayman Enterprise City’s Signal House.

Spend the evening exploring a vibrant showcase of Cayman-inspired digital art, culture and sound. Guests are invited to enjoy Cayman-inspired refreshments while experiencing the whimsical work of Caymanian artist Michael Mothen, also known as Banana Art Kid, whose vibrant digital pieces bring Cayman’s heritage, history and everyday beauty to life.

The event will feature the unveiling of a brand-new art mural in the Plexys Auditorium, alongside artist-designed stickers, digital artwork displays and printed pieces available for purchase.

Music inspired by Cayman’s traditional Kitchen Band sounds will add an immersive layer to the experience and Cayman-style games will create a lively atmosphere throughout the evening.

About The Artist

Michael Mothen, also known as Banana Art Kid, is a Caymanian digital artist celebrated for his vibrant, whimsical style and his deep connection to Caymanian culture. His work often weaves together elements of history, heritage, music and everyday life in Cayman, transforming familiar stories and symbols into imaginative digital experiences. Through public installations, animation and illustrated works, Michael continues to build a distinctive visual language that honours the past while reimagining it for new audiences.

Curators Tour – Evolutions: Continuity and Change in Caymanian Art

Their current exhibition Evolutions traces the historical and artistic journey of the Cayman Islands through a period of rapid social, political and cultural transformation.
