CLAIRE AT THE BEACH AND DREADY

Claire Pettinati creates large-format abstractions of Cayman’s stunning sea and cloudscapes. A prolific painter, Claire has exhibited her work around the world at major galleries and art fairs, including: The Mall Galleries, London; Battersea Art Fair, London; Berlin Design Week; Act IV Miami; the Buonanotte Galeria 360, Florence, Italy; Mapping, Madrid, Spain; The Carrousel de Louvre, Paris Art Week; as well as at the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands. Drawing inspiration from the remarkable light and colour of her surroundings, her bold, large-format paintings are a celebration of the unique beauty of our island home and a soulful journey of self-expression.

Jamaican-born Caymanian artist Shane ‘dready’ Aquârt is known for his vibrant digital artworks that capture the laid-back spirit of Caribbean life. His distinctive style – marked by clean lines, bold colours and whimsical characters – originated from a simple doodle and has since evolved into a unique art form blending pop art and poster aesthetics. dready's creations often feature minimalist, featureless figures engaged in quintessential Caribbean activities such as sailing, surfing, and beach lounging. These scenes are set against vividly colored backdrops and frequently include subtle nods to Caribbean culture. dready’s art has been exhibited internationally, including in Dubai and London, and is part of several public and private collections.

For CAW 2025, Claire and Shane ‘dready’ Aquart have partnered to present dready and Claire at the Beach.
