AL EBANKS STUDIO + GALLERY

Al Ebanks Studio + Gallery features works from the artist’s 30-year career as a painter, sculptor, fashion designer, and, generally, a Caymanian visual storyteller. Entering this sophisticated space, you wouldn’t guess that it doubles as the artist’s home, with movable panels maximising space and covering personal effects. The urban feel provides the ideal backdrop for Ebanks’ large-format abstract acrylic paintings and sculptural works. Though non-representational, the focal subject – carnivals to island life – is always subtly apparent.

For Cayman Art Week 2024, the Al Ebanks Studio + Gallery will be closed for renovations and subsequently will not be participating in the official programme. Please visit Al’s website for updates.
