3 GIRLS AND A KILN
3 Girls and a Kiln is an art collective made up of local artists with a focus on local art, design, and island-inspired creativity. Coming from different art backgrounds, each of the featured artists brings something new and different to the studio, from ceramics to paintings to upcycled/repurposed gifts.
For Cayman Art Week 2026, 3 Girls & A Kiln presented S’pet’acular S’pet’acular, a lively exhibition celebrating the bond between people and their pets through art. Featuring a diverse mix of 2D and 3D works, the show includes artist-led pet portraits, pieces created during community classes, and a possible live painting experience on the night. Featured artists include Deborah Kern, Alyssa Whorms, Shakira Smith, Amrita Sinha, Caz Meyer, Janice Brown, Jo Austin, Alex Hughes and Josie Frazer.
In partnership with One Dog at a Time, a portion of sales will be donated to support their work. The exhibition also included a local school pet portrait competition, with visitors invited to vote for their favourite piece, creating an engaging and welcoming experience for both art lovers and animal enthusiasts.
