Cayman Art Week is proud to have collaborated with over 50 creative venues across the three Cayman Islands for 2025, celebrating art through special events, panel discussions, Pop-Up interventions, and workshops alongside our Gallery and Studio Tours.

We look forward to seeing you at Cayman Art Week 2026 from 26-31 May 2026. The CAW Events Programme will be released in early May.

Cayman Art Week Closing Event and Q&A – Cayman Brac – FEATURED EVENT

To celebrate the end of Cayman Art Week 2025, Gordon Solomon will host a reception at his gallery in West End. Guests can view his latest collection, Submerged, a compelling collection of 16x20-inch recent and past works showcasing the artist’s growth and evolution from 2010 to 2025. This exhibit highlights Solomon’s journey through impressionism, abstraction, and intuitive portraiture. Solomon will also discuss his creative practice with CAW’s Meegan Ebanks and answer any questions. Refreshments will be provided.

Art and the Art of Art Collecting – SPECIAL EVENT

Artists will be taking over Grand Harbour with a pop-up exhibition and evening event that celebrates the closure of Cayman Art Week. Autism Cayman presents Expression Beyond Words

Autism Cayman is pleased to present Expression Beyond Words, an exhibition curated from select works by autistic and neurodiverse children and adults. The exhibition aims to give persons a better understanding of autism and neurodiversity from the personal perspectives of each artist helping to spread the message that creativity is universal and isn't limited to those who can express themselves verbally.

Featured artworks will be for sale with the proceeds going to the charitable organisation Autism Cayman. Each work will be accompanied by a title and personalised message from the artist or parent/caregiver on behalf of the artist.

Meet the artists and their families at a cocktail reception from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Immerse yourself in the digital art world with this special exhibition at Signal House that stretches across the CEC headquarters. Featured artists include Rudolph Johnson (digital installation Wreck of the Ten Sails in the Innovation Room), Michael Mothen “Bananaartkid”(digital exhibition in the auditorium), Shane Aquârt “Dready” (artwork display in 2474 Café), Kristi Anderson (digital art display in the Green Room).

Join a curator-led bus tour of creative venues in Cayman Brac including: Cayman Brac Heritage House, featuring a new National Gallery exhibition celebrating traditional architecture through art; NIM Things & SimoneS Art Gallery; Gordon Solomon Studio’s Submerged exhibition; and the Conroy Ebanks exhibit Our Caymanian Heritage at the National Trust for the Cayman Islands’ Eldemire House. Little Cayman Art Tour

Explore art across several participating Little Cayman venues including: the Seahorse Boutique and Coffee Shop featuring Ingrid Felderhoff, Jan Barwick, Amanda Craig and others; Little Cayman National Trust with their nature exhibits, a nature-inspired art exhibition by the National Gallery and pop-up showcase by artist Debbi Truchan; and the Little Cayman Museum featuring ‘TimeBack’ - an archival photography exhibition spanning 60 years of Cayman Islands community heritage curated by the National Gallery, in addition to their historic collections.

The tour can be accessed via bikes from participating hotels (Little Cayman Beach Resort and Southern Cross Club), by car, or on foot. Light refreshments provided. Presentation at 5:00 pm by artist Debbi Truchan at the National Trust House.

National Gallery Lunchtime Lecture – TimeBack Exhibition

Learn about the collaboration between the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands (NGCI), Compass Media and Dart to highlight the historic images from the Cayman Compass archive. Offering a prominent platform through which to present this treasure trove of photographs to the Caymanian public, TimeBack is conceived as a collective memory project and an opportunity to remember and relive Cayman’s past.
