JOHN BROAD AT ISLAND JEWELLERS

This exhibition features a series of watercolour and acrylic paintings superimposed over island road maps. The welding together of this imagery gracefully merges historical figures – mariners, boat builders, turtlers, musicians, dancers and so forth – with significant island locations where their activities may once have occurred, evoking a sense of nostalgia for times gone by.
